“钱塘杯”国际青年汉语文化大赛由中共杭州市钱塘区委宣传部、杭州市钱塘区教育局主办，中欧国际文化创新中心承办。大赛以汉语与当代中国“潮”文化为核心，旨在为世界各国青年学生搭建一个展示语言能力、深化文化理解、促进文明互鉴的国际平台。

“Qiantang Cup” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Global Youth is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Qiantang District Committee of Hangzhou and the Qiantang District Education Bureau of Hangzhou, with the China-Europe Centre for Cultural Innovation serving as the implementing body. Focusing on the Chinese language and contemporary Chinese “trend” culture, the competition aims to establish an international platform for young students from around the world to showcase their language proficiency, deepen cultural understanding, and promote mutual learning among civilizations.

大赛通过多元创新的环节设置，全面考察参赛选手的汉语应用能力、跨文化沟通技巧以及新媒体实践素养，强调“在运用中学习，在体验中理解”的实践理念。获胜者将获得奖杯、证书及丰厚奖金，并将受聘为“钱塘海外传播官”，参与后续的国际文化交流活动。

Through diverse and innovative stages, the competition comprehensively evaluates participants’ practical Chinese language skills, cross-cultural communication abilities, and digital media literacy, emphasizing the educational philosophy of “learning through application and understanding through experience.” Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and generous substantial prizes, and will be appointed as “Qiantang Overseas Communication Ambassadors” to participate in follow-up programmes in international cultural exchange.
